Quantum physics is the study of phenomena on an atomic and subatomic level, where the laws of classical physics break down. It is a field of physics that uses the principles of quantum mechanics to describe, explain and predict physical, chemical and biological phenomena. This includes the behavior of atoms, molecules, electrons and other particles as well as their interactions with each other and with electromagnetic radiation such as light. It is also concerned with understanding and describing the behavior of very large systems such as nuclei, stars, and even entire galaxies.
